One amaal for each of the forty days after burial. Day 1 is the day of the burial itself.

Surah Ya-Sin (36)سورة يس
One Tasbih of Salawatالصلوات على محمد وآل محمد
One thousand angels are called to seek forgiveness (istighfar) for the Marhum.

Ziyarat Ashuraزيارة عاشوراء
One Tasbih of Ayat al-Karimaلا إله إلا أنت سبحانك إني كنت من الظالمين
Imam Hussain (a.s.) will visit the grave with Prophet Isa (a.s.) and Prophet Khidr (a.s.).

One Tasbih of Bismillahبسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
The Marhum performs Umrah with Imam Hussain (a.s.).

The Marhum is given water from Kawthar and eats from the dastarkhwan of Imam al-Asr (a.j.).

After the stages of Barzakh, the Marhum is given a house in Bayt al-Mahdi.

The Marhum is victorious through the stages of the forthcoming journey and remains under the protection of the Imam's army.

The Marhum receives a heavenly crown and 70,000 angels are appointed to guard the grave.

The Marhum receives the thawab of being a companion of Imam Hussain (a.s.) martyred at Karbala.

The Marhum is elevated an additional rank and granted closeness to Allah (s.w.t.).

The Marhum is protected from punishment from Allah and is given the opportunity to remove punishment from someone of their choosing.

The Marhum goes for Ziyarat of the Prophet (s.a.w.) and the homes of the Ma'sumeen (a.s.).

Surah An-Nur (24)سورة النور
One Tasbih of Ya Salamuيا سلام
Allah grants the Marhum such nur that they may visit their loved ones whenever they wish.

One Tasbih of Ya Samaduيا صمد
The Marhum is included amongst those who love Imam Ali (a.s.) and recognise his haqq.

Surah Al-Mu'minun (23)سورة المؤمنون
One Tasbih of Ya Mu'izzuيا معز
Allah elevates the Marhum and grants them great honour and respect.

Surah Fatir (35)سورة فاطر
One Tasbih of Ya 'Aliyyuيا علي
The door of Jannat al-Ma'wa opens and the Marhum attends their first Majlis in Jannah.

Surah Luqman (31)سورة لقمان
One Tasbih of Ya Tawwabuيا تواب
The Marhum may ask Allah to forgive the sins of a person of their choosing.

One Tasbih of Ya Wakiluيا وكيل
An angel is given to the Marhum to assist with the task assigned to them.

The Marhum performs wudhu with Zamzam water and is granted a higher station.

The grave is transformed into a beautiful house and a door appears leading to Hawd al-Kawthar.

If the Marhum had enemies in this world, they will perish.

The Marhum is granted a hur.

Imam Ali (a.s.) visits the Marhum, and on the Day of Judgement, the Marhum stands with Imam Ali (a.s.).

One Tasbih of Ya Muhayminuيا مهيمن
The Marhum overcomes Shaytan and fear of the Day of Judgement is removed.

The Marhum is granted a journey to the heavens, where two wishes are granted.

The Marhum is granted a high rank amongst the martyrs.

The Marhum is granted a beautiful heavenly steed, like al-Buraq.
